Alright friends, Don't you hate it when you get all stuck in your head? Those moments in life when you're dealing with a problem or challenge and you just can't see the forest through the trees? We've all been there. I caught myself recently doing just that, leaning a bit to heavily on my ability to strategize and mentally figure it out in my life and business.
Intuition is the conversation we naturally go to when we are seeking answers that our mind just can never truly offer us. It's that inner knowing, that feeling that we just can't explain with our intelligence. In my podcast episode Listening To Our Intuition I talk about the difference between intellect and intuition and how they both serve us in many ways. I believe that we must lean into both on a daily basis to truly be in a state of equilibrium and ease.
There was a time when I thought that the mind/ego was a bad thing, that overthinking got me into some messy situations. However, funny thing, when I began to trust my inner knowing is when I learned how to partner with the mind. The benefits of mindfulness practices have been studied for decades and the results are clear a centered mind is a productive one.
