Attending the Taylor Swift Concert was a truly unforgettable experience. Not only did I get to take my daughter to see her favorite artists perform live, but I also took away valuable inspiration from the concert. In this blog post, I will share some of the important things I learned during this incredible event.
I’m writing this in my hotel room Sunday morning after not one, but two nights at Taylors concert performance. A show that was inspiring and filled with women of all ages coming together to celebrate with an artists who has pulled us into her life with her vulnerable lyrics and zeal to live life wholeheartedly. Taylor Swift has been writing and recording songs since she was a teen which means the night was filled with 17 years of her music. The Goddess of Feminine Empowerment tells us the stories of her life. Each one relates to the experiences, the high’s and low’s, the heartwarming and the heartbreaking moments of her 33 year journey.
What I am sitting with as I write this are the powerful lessons and reminders she brings to us in how she shows up and of course her super fans the Swifties! I share them below and I do hope they remind you of how damn magic and amazing you are.
Lesson 1: Embrace Your Individuality
Taylor Swift's powerful on-stage presence reminded me of the importance of embracing our individuality. She encourages her fans to be their authentic selves and to never be afraid to stand out. From her unique fashion choices to her empowering messages, Taylor Swift teaches us that it is okay to be different and to let our true self shine. This is a lesson that continues to repeat in our lives, whether you are 13, 33 or 103 we get to show up authentic every single day. Thank you Taylor for this reminder...
Lesson 2: Follow Your Passions
Throughout the concert, Taylor Swift's passion for music was evident in every note she sang. Her dedication and love for her craft served as a reminder for me to pursue my own passions. Whether it's music, writing, business or any other form of expression, following our passions brings joy and fulfillment to our lives. Sometimes we forget to infuse our lives with passion for a myriad of reasons. Whatever the case, friend, let's be sure to remember what ignites us and bring it into our life as much as possible.
Lesson 3: Connection and Collaboration
A memorable moment of the concert was when Taylor Swift brought out the HAIM sisters to sing " No Body, No Crime" together, a song that they recorded together back in 2020. This highlighted the importance of connection and collaboration. It reminded me that sometimes, the most magical things can happen when we join forces with others. All of Taylors openers are women and female led bands, that is something special. She supports these women and thanks them in a heartfelt way during the performance. Taylor how's us that collaboration allows us to create something greater than we could ever achieve alone.
Lesson 4: Perseverance and Resilience
Taylor Swift's journey to success has been filled with challenges and obstacles, but she has always shown incredible perseverance and resilience. Think about this, Taylor made one decision after another and each one made her the woman she is today. Seeing her perform with such unwavering determination reminded me that setbacks are a part of life, but it's important to keep pushing forward. Success comes to those who never give up on their dreams.
