The past five years has brought me many lessons. Some of these experiences have changed my view of the world and some how I view myself in the world. There was a time when I used a different business name and worked with goddess energy helping people connect to spirit. And before that I was a leader and trainer in a corporate setting for many years. In 2016 I changed direction and focused more on the practical elements of living after seeing how the imbalance of a spiritual only life had on myself and others. I had decided that I would leave my old businesses behind me and transition into the role of life coach and spiritual counselor and got busy educating myself in psychology, behavior change, and Our Temple with a nutrition and fitness focus. I figured that I had all of this know-how and could really make an impact. I officially launched Joie Kya Services in February 2018 with my program 28 Days to a New You. It was a hit with 20 womxn joining me on that first round. And after that successful beginning so many blessings followed.
In the past two years it has become very clear that my inner goddess is alive and re-emerging in my business as much as I try to keep her in the past and personal. I have many of you and others reaching out to me that are in alignment with this sacred space of spiritual connection. So for the past few months I have been on a soul quest and once again truly listening to my higher self and tuning out my ego and what seems practical. I have come to understand that I am all of these elements of me. I am my past and I am my future, and most importantly I must embrace the womxn I am right here! Right now!
So now, I take a leap and trust you and the world at large with all of me. I am a fierce and complicated womxn just as many of you are. I have a story and a right to express myself fully with no filter. And that is the one thing I have been doing my whole life and that is to filter my authentic self so it may be digested and accepted by others. By doing this I have hidden my true self and my alignment to spirit and earth has paid the price. And my friends, that looks like stress, worry, unhealthy relationships in love and even playing small with money.
Today in this little post I am declaring me! I am merging the different versions of me allowing them to transmute the beauty of all of my experiences as teacher, student, mother, friend, lover, sister, and daughter. I am a Soul Weaver, Illuminator, Sacred Space Holder, Strategic Alchemist, Energetic Healer, Intuitive, Sacred Collaborator, Soulful Author, Inspirational Speaker, Retreat Leader, Life Blueprint Architect, and a Grounded Free Spirit. .I reclaim my essence and I would love to see you do the same and therefore I vow to share my wisdom of the journey in the work I am doing.
